Alexander Graham Bell

I might have to say that my favorite is Alexander Graham Bell. It seems that much of Graham Bell's work was focused on ending the use of sign language. However, we've all heard that what does not kill us only makes us stronger. I believe that the bump in the road that was Bell's push to use the oral method only made sign language stronger and more prominent when it pushed through. I am a hearing person, but I find sign language so fascinating that I have decided to try to learn the language.

What an interesting choice! This is definitely another way to look at Bell's impact on Deaf history. Thank you for sharing!
