Question: How do I find American Sign Language schools or classes near me?

Answer: It is very difficult for some people to find sign language schools and classes in their area. That's the main reason why I started this website--so people could learn ASL online for free.

There are some online classes that you can pay for at Signing Online or Handspeak.

If you would rather learn in person, you are better off trying to find classes at a community college near you. If you live in Southern California, there are classes offered at College of the Canyons and Pierce College. You can also major in Deaf Studies at California State University, Northridge.
