Need a Good Sign Language Video?

I found all the best ones!

I have searched and searched for all the best sign language videos. I have checked them out and read their reviews. There really are a lot of good ones to choose from! The videos on this page were carefully selected and are my recommendations to you if you absolutely must buy a sign language video!

ASL 1 - Offline Version The Start ASL online class is available as an instant download. This one file contains all of the ASL 1 class Lessons, Readings, Videos, and Workbook. Only one download and you will have full access to the ASL 1 class on your computer without an internet connection. I highly recommend this if you need access to the class offline, need to download the videos all at once, don't like the advertisements in the lessons, or want an easy way to share the ASL 1 lessons in the classroom!

	Getting Started In Signing This is a great DVD for learning basic ASL. I have heard so many great things about it.
	American Sign Language for Kids and Adults, Volume 1: Everyday Lessons This is Volume 1 of the American Sign Language for Kids and Adults series. I do recommend these videos for parents and/or kids. If you are learning ASL on your own, this may be a little too kid-like for you.
	Idioms & Phrases in American Sign Language, Vol. 1-5 - Complete Set - 5 DVDs Idioms in ASL are so important to know! These DVDs are great for ASL students, interpreters, families, teachers, etc. It's packed full of idioms and phrases and really worth the money.
	American Sign Language for Kids and Adults, Vol. 1-2 - Complete Set - 2 DVDs This is Volumes 1-2 of the American Sign Language for Kids and Adults series. I do recommend these videos for parents and/or kids. If you are learning ASL on your own, this may be a little too kid-like for you.
	I Want to Learn Sign Language, Vol. 1 This is a great video for your older child. It is Volume 1/2. If you taught your baby sign language, this is great for when he or she gets older!
	Holidays in American Sign Language, Vol. 1 Great resource for learning holiday vocabulary!
	American Sign Language Learning System This is a good DVD packed full of information, but the signing is really fast. If you are new to ASL, I wouldn't recommend it. If you have been learning ASL already and would like to practice your receptive skills, this is a good DVD for you.
	Idioms & Phrases in American Sign Language, Volume 2 Idioms in ASL are so important to know! This is volume 2/5. These DVDs are great for ASL students, interpreters, families, teachers, etc. It's packed full of idioms and phrases and really worth the money.
	Idioms & Phrases in American Sign Language, Volume 3 Idioms in ASL are so important to know! This is volume 3/5. These DVDs are great for ASL students, interpreters, families, teachers, etc. It's packed full of idioms and phrases and really worth the money.
	Idioms & Phrases in American Sign Language, Volumes 3-4 Set Idioms in ASL are so important to know! This is volumes 3-4/5. These DVDs are great for ASL students, interpreters, families, teachers, etc. It's packed full of idioms and phrases and really worth the money.

	Idioms & Phrases in American Sign Language, Volumes 1-2 Set Idioms in ASL are so important to know! This is volumes 1-2/5. These DVDs are great for ASL students, interpreters, families, teachers, etc. It's packed full of idioms and phrases and really worth the money.
	Sign Song - The Complete Library Set - 4 ASL DVD's (American Sign Language Song Video Collection) If you want to learn songs (patriotic, Christmas, hymns, etc.) then this is a great series to have. I haven't found anything else that offers these songs.
	I Want to Learn Sign Langauge, Vol. 2 This is a great video for your older child. It is Volume 2/2. If you taught your baby sign language, this is great for when he or she gets older!
	ASL in Motion Dictionary Here is a DVD ASL dictionary (if you were looking for one). Instead of a book or software, this DVD would work just as well as an ASL dictionary.

	Number Signs for Everyone: Numbering in American Sign Language This video was required for my ASL Interpreting class. It really makes numbers in ASL very clear. There are so many different ways to sign different numbers. It all depends on the context, and this is something you definitely need to learn how to decipher if you are learning ASL.
	ASL / PSE Grammar & Sentence Structure This was another required video for my ASL Interpreting class. Many people think they are signing ASL, when really, they are signing Pidgin Signed English. This video will teach you how to make sure you are signing ASL and not PSE. I highly recommend it!

	Baby Signs - The Original Sign Language Program for Babies. Baby Signs is the leader in educational signing products and provides books, videos and toys to support parents and caregivers in teaching their hearing babies and toddlers to communicate with sign language. Children and parents love Baby Signs products because they are both highly educational and enormously entertaining! Highly recommended!
	Signing Time! Volume 1: My First Signs DVD Signing Time! is a great television show on PBS that teaches children ASL signs. Very fun and educational!
	Baby Signing Time! Volume 1 DVD The show Signing Time is already a lot of fun! Now, just introduce that to your baby and you've got Baby Signing Time! I highly recommend these DVDs.
