Your videos are blocked at our school!

Hello, the videos on your website will not play on any of the computers here at our school. I've visited the FAQ page and have made sure that Flash Player and scripting are enabled on our computers but it still does not work. Are the videos from your website being hosted on another website or might you have another suggestion? We have a Internet blocking system and it might be causing a problem if the videos are on another website. Any suggestions you can give me would be appreciated. Thank you.

Hi Dennis,
I'm very sorry to hear that you are having problems viewing my videos. If your school has a blocking system, that is most likely the problem. The videos on my site are currently hosted on YouTube and Google Video. And these seem to be commonly blocked websites. This is news to me because that isn't something I considered before hosting my videos there.
I'm so sorry, but I don't know how those blocking systems work. I am currently working on a "software" version of the online class, but that may not help if you don't want to have to put it on multiple computers.
I've actually just spent the past hour researching to see if there is any way for schools to unblock a certain individual YouTube or Google Video channel. Unfortunately, I haven't found anything.
This is an issue I definitely want to try to fix. The problem is that it's not easy for me to just move my videos. I'm hosting about 700 of them on Google Video and Youtube and linking to them on about 600 pages on my site :-/
I am so so sorry. If I find out anything, I will definitely let you know.
Also, if anyone visits this page and knows how to do this, maybe they'll help us out and post a comment with the answer :)
God bless,
Michelle Jay
